Hank Williams isn’t just the greatest country singer who ever lived.  He’s an American icon, a man whose work defines an important strand of American culture.  It’s been 100 years since he was born and 70 years since he died, but in a real sense he’s still with us, and always will be.  To many people, he’s not just the greatest country singer/songwriter who ever lived—he’s a virtual embodiment of country music itself.

Join us as Tennessee Walt takes us on a journey of 'The Hank Williams Century' and explores the man, the music and the legend through a mix of Williams classics—“Your Cheating Heart,” “I Saw the Light,” “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Jambalaya,” “Why Don’t You Love Me Like You Used to Do”—and Williams rarities, including undervalued classics, never-released songs and songs written by Williams but recorded by other artists.  Along with the music, Tennessee Walt will share the stories behind the songs and the man who created them.
