Join David Hymowitz, licensed social worker, and a professor at Hofstra University and at Stony Brook University, as he provides guidance and instruction on how to truly disconnect from the daily stressors and tasks of everyday life. Many of us struggle with learning how to be in the moment, to focus on what is in front of us and prevent our future worries from interfering with our functioning and enjoyment in the present. Mr. Hymowitz will explore the reason this happens and how to change this behavior. This program coincides with Mental Health Awareness Month during the month of May.
