Language around sexuality and gender seems to change at the speed of light. This is particularly true of pronouns. As part of the Library’s celebration of Pride month we are very proud to welcome back Roger Rosen, who is teacher, artist, performer, writer, activist, and husband, currently teaching Queer Theory and Critical Thinking. Join Roger for this interactive program that explores pronouns from a variety of perspectives: from historical to grammatical to linguistic to cultural. If you've ever wondered why pronouns have become so important, why it's all changing so fast, how you fit into this shifting verbal landscape, how to keep up, or even if you've balked at all this "new" language, this is the program for you. This Pride month event will give you a new perspective on pronouns, identity, and language.
