Homework Help for Elementary school children

Is your child struggling with their Elementary or Middle school homework? The Port Washington Public Library ESOL department provides a Homework Help Program in which your child will be tutored by an academic achieving high school volunteer.

Ignite the love of coding by learning to create animations and computer games using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed by MIT.

Please join us for a twelve-session exercise class incorporating yoga, pilates and stretching. Marlene Kirsh, athletic trainer and certified pilates instructor, will lead the classes.

Join award winning author Jane Breskin Zalben in this three-week writer’s workshop. This is a guided three-part workshop series where Zalben will help aspiring writers work on their manuscripts or help draft ideas into potential book ideas.

Group acoustic guitar lessons for the absolute beginner are back! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! You’ll be taught simple methods to get you started and will learn well-known songs.

In this workshop, Dominique Padurano, Ph.D. teaches students key strategies for critically reading, note-taking, and studying for exams.
