As part of the Library's celebration of Women's History Month, join Tanisha Mitchell as she explores the life and career of Leontyne Price, who is highly regarded as one of the greatest operatic sopranos of all time. Tanisha will explore her humble beginnings and her rise to stardom. Tanisha will also perform a live aria as part of the program.  Named a "Mover and Shaker" by Library Journal, Tanisha Mitchell is best known for her innovative work in the arts at the Metropolitan Opera and the Freeport Memorial Library.
