ESOL Low Intermediate Class with Rachel

Apply for a series of Chair Yoga classes with certified instructor Beth Lipset. Free to Port Washington residents. Classes start January 27 and run through June 2 (no class on February 17, April 14, and May 26).

Join David Hymowitz, licensed social worker, and a professor at Hofstra University and at Stony Brook University, as he explores the impacts of loneliness.

Move through poses to increase flexibility, balance, strength, and range of motion. Marlene Kirsh, athletic trainer, and certified Pilates instructor, will lead the sessions. Chairs will be available, if needed. 

Ages 2 1/2 to 5 years with an adult

Enjoy great stories, songs, and fingerplays, while your child develops essential early literacy skills. Registration begins April 21.

Connecting with friends and family these days come in all different ways. Learning to text, regardless of what device(s) you use, is a common go-to method of communication for many.

Creative Readers is starting a pilot program for middle and high school students who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Is your child struggling with their Elementary or Middle school homework? The Port Washington Public Library ESOL department provides a Homework Help Program in which your child will be tutored by an academic achieving high school volunteer.

For grades K-2. 

A non-denominational community service coordinated by the United Methodist Church of Port Washington; students and tutors of all faiths (or none) are welcomed. Grades 6-8
