Event Details

Join TV and film historian Sal St. George for a multimedia presentation about the making of the classic animated film Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.  Walt Disney was the Ultimate Dreamer.  After creating a bevy of beloved characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, & Goofy and featuring them in award-winning cartoons, Walt set his sights on something bolder and grander: he set upon producing the very first feature length animated motion picture: Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.  Labeled Disney’s Folly by his critics in 1937, Walt pushed the boundaries of storytelling and hand-drawn animation resulting in a classic fable that is as enchanting and entertaining today as it was over eight decades ago.
