In celebration of Women's History Month join Professor Ron Brown as he explores the life and legacy of activist and journalist Gloria Steinem who broke through the glass ceiling of journalism in the late 1960s and helped pioneer other women journalists. She was a leader in the second-wave of feminism co-founding the National Women's Political Caucus and the Women's Action Alliance. In 2005, Steinem co-founded the Women's Media Center, an organization that "works to make women visible and powerful in the media."
