Join Dr. Nkosi, PhD, in conversation about his fascinating life story. Born in Johannesburg, under Apartheid Dr. Nkosi fled South Africa and lived and worked during decades of exile in various parts of Africa, Europe and the United States. He was educated in the United States where he earned his Bachelor’s, MBA and doctorate in economics from The New School and was subsequently a tenured university professor. Dr. Nkosi has worked in a number of African countries as a development economist and consultant for various organizations. Since his return to South Africa in 1991, Dr. Nkosi has been an executive of numerous businesses and not-for-profit organizations, including managing partner of Morley Nkosi Associates. Dr. Nkosi has been active throughout his life as a social and political activist devoted to progressive values and movements internationally, nationally and at the community level.
