A lap-sit story time with books, songs, and bouncing rhymes. Registration begins September 15.

Join your favorite librarians at Blumenfeld Park (across the street from the library) for Park Story Time! No registration required.

Ms. Karen presents educational activities, movement, music and a craft. For children ages 18 months to 5 years with an adult. Registration required.

Fiesta in the Park: Somos Port Washington

Join us for the 4th annual Fiesta in the Park on October 5, celebrating the talents and leadership of Port Washington’s Hispanic community.

Is your child struggling with their Elementary or Middle school homework? The Port Washington Public Library ESOL department provides a Homework Help Program in which your child will be tutored by an academic achieving high school volunteer.

Learn the rules and strategies of chess and practice what you have learned by playing against your peers. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library in memory of Lawrence Kamisher. Register September 22.

October 5-11 is banned books week. In celebration, come into the library and decorate a small tote bag, the perfect size to hold the book you are reading.
