ESOL Advanced Writing

Mark Rothko was an American painter of Russian-Jewish descent. Although he refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally identified as an abstract expressionist.

Join us for a game! Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m.

(2000-60 min.) Painter Mark Rothko (1903-1970) built his reputation during the post-WWII years for his broadly-scaled abstract paintings. Rothko's work, with its layered shapes, colors and textures, elicit a spectrum of raw emotion.
