Event Details

Group acoustic guitar lessons for the absolute beginner returns! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! You’ll be taught simple methods to get you started and will learn well-known songs. You’re required to: bring your own acoustic guitar (no electrics please); be at least fourteen years old (no exceptions); be a right-handed player (my apologies, but I’m not familiar with teaching left-handed style guitar); have pretty short nails on your left hand (long nails make it extremely hard to play notes correctly). Classes are from 7:15pm to 8:15pm and will take place on these Mondays: Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21 and Nov. 28. Registration begins on Monday, October 3. These sessions are for Port Washington Library cardholders only, thanks.
