Program Description

Event Details

As part one of a three part educational series, this first program will look at certain common environmental exposures than can lead to an elevated risk of breast cancer. Certain windows of vulnerability during a lifetime that increase risk will also be explored.  This important program will be presented by Patti Wood, founder and Executive Director of Grassroots, a leading science-based environmental health non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about health risks of common environmental exposures. In addition to raising awareness, Grassroots aims to empower individuals and organizations to act as catalysts for change in their communities.  (Stay tuned for Part Two: Raising Healthy Kids in a Toxic World on Nov.9 and Part Three: Technology and Kid's Health on Dec.7)

Please note this will be a hybrid event.  Participants are invited to join us in person or virtually over Zoom.
