The Metropolitan Museum of Art is presenting masterpieces from the collections from west and central Africa alongside art from ancient Egypt for the first time in The Met’s history. Join museum educator Alice W. Schwarz as she explores some of the twenty-one pairings of works from different African cultures and eras revealing unexpected parallels and contrasts.
