FUNK ISLAND SOUND - RAIN LOCATION

FUNK ISLAND SOUND - Funk Island Sound is a 10 piece gig band that needs FUNK!!! The set list contains many well known hits ranging from the 70's to modern day pop, with a funky flare ( think Rolling Stones to Doja Cat).

Tenor Daniel McGrew, First Prize winner of the 2021 YCA Susan Wadsworth Auditions, has performed with the Brooklyn Art Song Society, New York Festival of Song, and at venues like Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center.

Violinist Lun Li, a Shanghai native, won First Prize in the 2021 YCA Auditions and the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize. He's a member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's Bowers Program.
