Have you ever wondered. "Is that a ship or a barge? What is on that vessel? How many people might work on that boat and what are their duties and schedules?" All these questions and more will be addressed in this illustrated talk by William Van Dorp, who is a photographer and expert on many of New York's major waterways. Similar to the field guides to birds, trees, and fish, Mr. Van Dorp will explore the wide variety of types of ships that navigate New York Harbor.
