Paul Rappaport is in conversation with legendary DJ Maria Milito from Q104.3 and shares some of the fantastic stories from his incredible career in the music business, with a 'surprise' appearance by Albert and Joe Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult! In his brand-new book, "Gliders Over Hollywood: Airships, Airplay, and the Art of Rock Promotion," Paul Rappaport gives a dynamic insider’s account of the golden age of rock, sharing never-before-told tales of his adventures with some of music’s most colorful characters including The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, Journey and many more. Paul enjoyed a thirty-three-year career at Columbia Records where he was regarded as the most renowned rock promotion man in the U.S.A. He worked at Columbia from the 60s through the 90s, when eccentric characters were everywhere, and often the managers, promoters, disc jockeys, and record company staff were just as big a show as the performers themselves.
