Port Washington's own Barry Waller is an introspective singer-songwriter with 44+ years of international experience on stages both large and small. His professional career began when he served as bassist of the legendary Long Island band Mazarin's. After returning to acoustic guitar, Barry toured Nordic Europe extensively as a solo entertainer, and then played both instruments with Deep Purple's founding father Ritchie Blackmore. Most recently, Mr. Waller performed in over 60 U.S. cities in the multi-act 'Happy Together' tour, where he backed artists such as The Turtles, The Archies, Mark Lindsay, and The Cowsills. Barry's acoustic performances of “outside the box” classics and original songwriting reflect his ongoing musical journey, which he now brings home to where he picked up his first guitar... and eventually made sense of it. Come hear the glorious results of his years of travel and musical experience at this very special SoundSwap event!
