Event Details

Join PWPL staff and friends from the Bryant Library as we explore our local Hempstead Harbor Shoreline Trail, just minutes away from the Library. We will meet at the starting point (North Hempstead Beach Park), by a small gazebo in the parking lot next to the Manhasset Crew Team's storage. Please bring your own water. All participants will need to sign a waiver prior to meeting at the Trail. Registration is required. 

Hempstead Harbor Shoreline Trail
A passive, recreational trail (1.92 miles - almost 4 miles out and back) with beautiful views of Hempstead Harbor, including wetlands, wildlife, and birds. The Trail is a combination of smooth and wood chip surfaces, and it is fairly flat and meandering, with some light hills.
