Philip Harwood Presents: New York City on Film: Program 1

In this five-part series, film expert and librarian Philip Harwood will look at five classic movies that take place in New York City. Philip will introduce each movie, which will then be screened in our Lapham Meeting Room, and he will then lead a discussion. Tonight, Robert Z. Leonard’s Week-end at the Waldorf (1945-130 min.), in which numerous lives intersect at the landmark hotel. The cast includes Van Johnson, Lana Turner, Walter Pidgeon and Ginger Rogers.
