November Noir: "The Weapon"

(1957-78 min.). A boy (John Whiteley) accidentally shoots a playmate with a gun he finds in the rubble of a destroyed building. The gun turns out to be a clue in a ten-year-old murder case. Fred Freiberger scripted this British drama with producer Hal E. Chester, and Val Guest directed. The cast includes Steve Cochran, Lizabeth Scott and Herbert Marshall.
