Where does trash go once it’s taken from the curb? Join TTPW and Monique Fitzgerald, cofounder of the Brookhaven Landfill Action and Remediation Group (BLARG) for an informative evening about where our waste goes. We’ll explore the life cycle of plastic, focusing on the Brookhaven landfill, where a large portion of LI’s waste is kept. Learn how these wastelands affect the health of all. This discussion is led by passionate youth activists, educating the community, pushing towards a sustainable future.
