The Metropolitan Museum of Art will present the first comprehensive exhibition on Raphael (1483-1520) in the United States from March 29 through June 28, 2026, bringing together more than 200 of the artist’s greatest masterpieces and rarely seen treasures. A peer of Michelangelo and Leonardo, Raphael is considered among the greatest artists who helped shape the course of art history.
Professor Thomas Germano will present a visual lecture about Raphael, his life, and his times in the context of the MET’s blockbuster exhibition.
