Event Details

Widow Svetla lives alone in a Bulgarian village close to the Turkish border. One day she encounters Bamba, an African refugee, to whom she reluctantly offers shelter. As days pass and Bamba takes part in her daily life, Svetla makes a life-changing choice. Ivalyo Hristov scripted and directed this drama. Up first, Martina Stepanska's Ukrainian short, "Desaturated" (2019-10 min.). Both films are subtitled.
