Film: "The Drummer"

(2007-115 min.). Sid (Jaycee Chan), the rebellious son of triad boss Kwan (Tony Leung Ka Fai), escapes to Taiwan after enraging his father’s adversary. Hiding out in the mountains, Sid encounters a group of Zen drummers. Their mesmerizing art, rigorous training and austere way of life piques the hostile young man’s interest. Joining the group transforms Sid into a new man. Director Kenneth Bi also scripted this Hong Kong production. In Mandarin and Cantonese with English subtitles.
