Be The Rainbow Exhibit Reception

The History Center at the Port Washington Public Library has partnered with the “Be The Rainbow” organization to conduct oral history interviews documenting the experience of LGBTQIA+ elders and families who grew up in or currently live in Port Washington, as told to younger members of the local LGBTQIA+ community. Stop by the Community Gallery in June to see an exhibit highlighting this project and the “Be The Rainbow” organization as well as pictures, artwork, and memorabilia celebrating Pride Month. Join us for a reception on Friday, May 31st from 6-8pm.
