Program Description

Event Details

Alfred Sisley is the lesser-known French Impressionist of the nineteenth century. Like his contemporaries, Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, and Camille Pissarro, Sisley was passionate about color, atmosphere, and he was considered the most consistent in his dedication to painting landscapes en plein air, or outdoors. Join museum educator, Alice W. Schwarz, in an exploration of his prolific career.  (Sponsored by the Friends of the Library)

Please note this program is designed to complement the "Impressionism in Music, Art and Literature" program scheduled on Sunday, September 29 at 3:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 'hybrid' event that can be attended either "In-Person" or "Online" on the Zoom platform. You can choose which option you wish to register for below in the "Do you want to attend in-person or online?" dropdown menu below.
