ESOL Low Intermediate Class with Rachel

Apply for a series of Chair Yoga classes with certified instructor Beth Lipset. Free to Port Washington residents. Classes start January 27 and run through June 2 (no class on February 17, April 14, and May 26).

As part of the Library's celebration of Women's History Month, join award winning teacher and art historian Dennis Raverty as he explores the work of 19th Century Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot.

The Alegria Ensemble is a prize-winning piano trio of young musicians who first worked together at the Aaron Copland School of Music: Chlöe Dickens, violin; Sara Juneau, cello; and Ricky Asher Moreira, piano.

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to come play Nintendo Switch games with other teens after school.  No registration required.

Creative Readers is starting a pilot program for middle and high school students who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Is your child struggling with their Elementary or Middle school homework? The Port Washington Public Library ESOL department provides a Homework Help Program in which your child will be tutored by an academic achieving high school volunteer.

The Atkins Mills Project unites two musical married couples, Port Washington’s Rich and Patty Atkins and Mike and Maggie Mills of Huntington.

This reading group, facilitated by Dr. Laury Magnus, Professor of English, will feature great classic works -- ancient to contemporary -- as well as participatory reading out loud of selected passages. 

Bring your embroidery, crochet, quilting, or sewing project to this weekly gathering. Share ideas with fellow crafters, and get inspired from our collection of pattern and instruction books, generously provided by the Friends of the Library.

Come to The Lab, where you will learn how to use the Large Format Printer and even print your own poster! Registration begins March 12th.
