Is your child struggling with their Elementary or Middle school homework? The Port Washington Public Library ESOL department provides a Homework Help Program in which your child will be tutored by an academic achieving high school volunteer.

Ignite the love of coding by learning to create animations and computer games using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed by MIT.

Bring your embroidery, crochet, quilting, or sewing project to this weekly gathering. Share ideas with fellow crafters, and get inspired from our collection of pattern and instruction books, generously provided by the Friends of the Library.

In celebration of the Spring season come to the library and decorate flower pots using our Cricut Maker 3. This is a great way to learn more about the Cricut and enjoy some crafting. This is a “bring your own device” program.

Naloxone training presented by the staff of the Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services. Acquire the skills necessary to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. Attendees will receive a free Naloxone kit following this event.
