Did you know authors write their own marketing materials? Whether you self-publish or publish with a small or large press, you will do most of your own marketing. At this workshop, author Natalie S. Harnett will help writers get a jump start on the marketing materials you need to write, or tweak the ones you already have. She will cover everything from press releases to book club questions to self-interviews to book jacket copy. . .and more! Feel free to bring drafts of your own marketing materials. Time permitting, Natalie will workshop them with the group. Natalie S. Harnett has an MFA from Columbia in Fiction and has been awarded an Edward Albee Fellowship, a Summer Literary Seminars Fellowship, and a Vermont Studio Center Writer’s Grant. Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. It has also been a finalist for the Mary McCarthy Prize, the Mid-List Press First Series Award, the Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award, and The Ray Bradbury Short Story Fellowship.
