World Travels with Ron Brown: Ethiopia

According to Ethiopian history, the Queen of Sheba ruled from the ancient city of Axum. She had a son with King Solomon of Israel who ruled after her son, King Menelik I. Axum also claims to have the original Ten Commandments. As Axum declined, Lalibela became the capital of this mountain Christian kingdom and today is home to unique churches carved out of one giant rock. Finally, Addis Ababa became the capital of the kingdom in 1886 and is today one of the most beautiful capital cities of Africa. Dr. Brown spent several weeks in this exciting country in January 2019.
