Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a visual presentation about the diverse wildlife found in the Port Washington peninsula during the winter months.  Naturalist Stéphane Perreault will discuss the behavior of wintering mammals, including bats, show what duck species are present at well-known local sites, and discuss the reasons for the presence of land birds here in winter. He will also explore the insects that are active on our warmest winter nights through remarkable adaptations.

Stéphane Perreault is the Naturalist at the Greentree Foundation, a Manhasset-based non-profit organization with a mission of peace, sustainability, and philanthropy.
