Wild horse wrangler Ben Kirby (Steve Cochran) loses his heart to Wildfire, the stalwart and free-spirited stallion he captures. When Wildfire is sold to the circus, Ben "liberates" Wildfire and the two go on the run. Crane Wilbur scripted for director Louis King, Edwin B. DuPar shot the movie in WarnerColor, and Max Steiner supplied the music score.
