The Library was very proud to host author and Port Washington resident, Elon Green, who discusses his new work of non-fiction, Last Call - A True Story of Love, Lust and Murder in Queer New York. The gripping true-crime narrative, told here for the first time, tells the story of the Last Call Killer and the decades-long chase to find him. And at the same time, it paints a portrait of his victims and a vibrant community navigating threat and resilience. Elon Green has written for The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker and has been the editor at Longform since 2011. Sarah Weinman, award-winning author of The Real Lolita, will moderate the discussion of this gripping true crime story. (Sponsored by the Friends of the Library)
