Program Description

Event Details

Throughout the year we will take the opportunity to present overlooked films from the 1930s, the first decade in which talkies ruled America’s silver screens. We begin tonight with Ray Enright’s "Scarlet Pages" (1930-62 min.), in which brilliant criminal lawyer Mary Bancroft (Elsie Ferguson) defends cabaret dancer Nora Mason (Marian Nixon), who has confessed to murdering her father.
