Teen Workshop-Careers in Writing

In coordination with the launch of TeenSpace’s online literary magazine site, rising Junior Lily Labella will be running a Careers in Writing workshop on July 25th, at 7:00pm. Accompanying her is guest speaker Roland Allnach, president of the Long Island Authors Group, who will hold a Q&A discussion on publication. The object of the workshop is to decrease anxiety among local teen writers about graduating with a plan while continuing their writing, and will explain the writing industries of journalism and story publication, as well as higher education for both these fields.
