On February 7, 1964 the Beatles arrived at Kennedy Airport on Pan Am Yankee Clipper flight 101 from London Heathrow. This marked the British musical group's first visit to America. They were here, in part, for what would become a historic appearance on CBS-TV’s The Ed Sullivan Show on Sunday, February 9th,  It cannot be debated; "Beatlemania” officially began in the U.S. on that weekend!

Come and celebrate the Beatles’ arrival on our shores with historian Tony Traguardo and a group of local musicians, at an afternoon event that will feature rarely seen Beatles footage along with spirited live musical performances… and some singalongs!

Registration, which will begin on February 1 at 9:00 am, is required for this event.
