NOTE: This is the second and final segment of a program that began on June 10, 2021.
To celebrate Bob Dylan's recent birthday (80 years young!), join the Port Washington Public Library's resident musicologist Tony Traguardo for a look at the 'Rolling Thunder Revue', a 1975–1976 concert tour that paired Bob with numerous legendary musicians musicians and previous collaborators. The purpose of the tour was to allow Dylan, who had become a major recording artist and concert performer, to play in smaller auditoriums in less populated cities where he could be more intimate with his audiences. This evening's program will feature documentary and concert footage of this fascinating period in Dylan's career. PLEASE NOTE THE EARLY START TIME.
