Program Description

Event Details

In 1970, the members of the Rutles, the 60s most important musical group, called it a day ... I think it was a Thursday ... and went their separate ways. But Dirk McQuickly, Ron Nasty, Stig O'Hara and Barry Wom left behind a musical legacy that would last a lunchtime. For this special April 1st Round Table event, join the Port Washington Public Library's resident Rutleologist Tony Traguardo for a look at 'All You Need Is Cash', the documentary that brought a new generation to the Rutles' incredible catalog, which includes such chart-topping hits as 'Get Up and Go' and 'Ouch!'. We'll also touch on the career of the solo Rutles, and see a special clip featuring Ron Nasty ... the only Rutle who came to Port Washington!
