Tony Traguardo will host a very special SoundSwap event featuring Seaford’s own Jesse Kinch in an acoustic/electric evening of music. Jesse Kinch is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and lyricist who has been playing the N.Y.C./Long Island club scene since he was eight years old. He is a young and talented member of a new generation of artists who harken back to the ‘glory days’ of rock and roll, dominated by well-crafted songs and powerful performances. Jesse’s work evokes the spirit of the greatest rock bands and guitar- ists of the 60s and 70s, and the Seattle music scene of the 90’s. The late Eddie Money cast Jesse as ‘Young Eddie’ in his autobiographical musical “Two Tickets to Paradise” in 2009. Legendary artists Brad Paisley, Ludacris, Josh Groban and Kesha helped crown Jesse the winner of ABC-TV’s ‘Rising Star’ in 2014. In June 2018, Jesse released his debut album on Curb Records, I’m Not Like Everybody Else. .Jesse’s music reflects such influences as Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, David Grohl, and more. Jesse says that he has always focused on “nothing but the song. I always say no matter what, it’s about the music ... it’s about the song. That’s always been my philosophy.” PWPL thanks the Friends of the Library for its support of this program.
