SoundSwap: 'Boomer Brothers' and 'James Thom Thing' Perform Live at the Sousa Bandshell at Sunset Park

The Boomer Brothers have a background as diverse as New York City itself, The Boomer Brothers. They are a multifaceted band that really just wants you to have a good time! Each member sings lead as well as harmonies during a set that will feature both originals and covers.

The James Thom Thing has been keeping the faith since their inception in the early 1980s as Tom Cafiero and The Fanatics, continuing to play and release songs with ear catching melodies in an eclectic style that is all their own. Over the course of their long history, the band has performed at many top NYC venues such as CBGB’s, Max’s Kansas City, Trax, Heat, Bonds, SNAFU and on Long Island at My Father’s Place, Malibu, Hammerheads and Spit. They've aslso served as the opening act for many national artists, including Joan Jett and the Black Hearts.
