Chamber Music with the North Shore Trio

Join us for a chamber music performance by the North Shore Trio featuring works by Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky, and more. The North Shore Trio includes Melissa Cheng on flute, Ethan Usoskin on clarinet, and Ann Zalkind on piano. Melissa Cheng is a New York based flute educator and performer. She has played in several orchestras, including Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra, Boston University Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Festival Orchestra, and Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Clarinetist Ethan Usoskin is a recent graduate of the Mannes School of Music, having earned a Bachelors of Music degree with honors as a student of Jon Manasse, with additional studies under David Krakauer. Ethan has performed in the greater New York City area, Ohio, and Florida with various ensembles in venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Following a notable New York debut at Town Hall, Ann Zalkind has performed in the US and Europe to critical acclaim. The New York Times especially noted her genuine poetic gift, knowledge of musical styles, clarity, precision, thoughtful deliberation and temperament.
