Goa, India: The city where all gods are welcome

For almost two million years, the people of the Indian city of Goa has been part of a succession of cultures, civilizations, states, and empires. Located on the east coast of India, the city has been part of Asian, African, Middle Eastern, and European civilizations. Today it is the smallest state in India but it has played a major role in world history. The gods of Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are still venerated in this city of barely a million and a half. Dr. Ronald Brown spent a long vacation there in January 2017 visiting the shrines, temples, mosques, synagogues, and churches of this wonderful city.
