The Sum of Us (1994-100 min.). Director/cinematographer Geoff Burton, producer Kevin Dowling, and playwright/screenwriter David Stevens tell the story of Australian widower Harry Mitchell (Jack Thompson), who lives with his gay son Jeff (Russell Crowe). When Harry finds love with divorcee Joyce (Deborah Kennedy), her discomfort with Jeff's sexuality puts a strain on the father-son bond.
