Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) Presents AI Photography and Generative Art

The Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) invites you to join us at the Port Washington Public Library in the auditorium Wednesday, September 13, at 7:30 pm for a presentation by photographer and visual artist, Richard Froman. He will give a presentation on “AI, Photography and Generative Art”, which will cover the basics of AI, a discussion on how AI is used today and its impact on photography. He will also present some of his AI imagery as well as images from other AI artists and photographers.

Richard is a long-time resident of Port Washington and is a member of the Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI). He began his professional career as a computer animator/director. He worked for 20 years with many well-known artists, directors, and producers. During that time, he was recognized with multiple industry awards for the imagery he created for TV and film. He also served for 30 years as the Director of Information Systems with one of New York’s prestigious university hospitals and research institutes, designing and implementing custom business administrative systems.

The Photography Club of Long Island, formerly known as the Port Washington Camera Club, was founded in 1975 and hosts free monthly programs at the Port Washington Public Library as a community service from September through June each year.
