Join the Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 7:30 PM in the auditorium of the Port Washington Public Library for a hands-on workshop with Mike DiRenzo learning to make “Light Painting Portraits”. Bring your camera, tripod and a remote release so you can join in the fun.

Mike is a retired 6th grade teacher and since his retirement has been traveling around the United States capturing the beauty of our country. Most recently he has been exploring the technique of light painting to create magical images. In the course of his presentation we will see some of his creations as well as a demonstration of light painting in action. Audience members are encouraged to bring their camera and tripod to try out some of the techniques for themselves.

Mike was President of PFLI (Photographic Federation of Long Island) from 2013-2019 and Vice-President of the PFLI from 2019-Present. In PFLI competitions he has received 21 perfect score "27s" and won 34 PFLI Leonard Victor Awards. He was inducted into the PFLI Hall of Fame in 2015.
