Film historian Philip Harwood continues his series celebrating filmmakers and performers born a century ago. Tonight he will discuss the lives and careers of Howard Keel (1919-2004) and Marge Champion (who will turn 100 on September 2!). Philip will then introduce George Sidney’s musical Show Boat (1951-108 min.), which also stars Kathryn Grayson and Ava Gardner.
