A November Noir Double Bill

First, psychology professor Loretta Young must evade a murder charge in William Dieterle’s The Accused (1949-97 min.), which also stars Robert Cummings, Douglas Dick and Ann Doran. After a brief intermission, Richard Conte, Julia Adams, Henry Hull and Jim Backus star in Hollywood Story (1951-76 min.), which uncovers secrets from the mysterious death of an old-time movie-maker. Frederick Kohner and Fred Brady scripted this William Castle picture.
