Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a FOL Special Event: A Non-Scary, Practical guide to "Generative AI" with Sree Sreenivasan.  Mr. Sreenivasan will explain why "Generative AI" can be useful and why it might be scary. He'll also review several use cases and a number of tools you can use right away. Just as important as understanding the “what” and the “how” of AI, he will discuss the ethics of using AI and offer a roadmap of what's ahead.  Mr. Sreenivasan is the former Chief Digital Officer of the City of New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Columbia University.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 'hybrid' event that can be attended either "In-Person" or "Online" on the Zoom platform. You can choose which option you wish to register for below in the "Do you want to attend in-person or online?" dropdown menu below.
