Join us for a live concert by Spanish-Dutch pianist Albert Cano Smit. Praised as “a moving young poet” (Le Devoir), Albert Cano Smit has gained international recognition for his expressive performances and nuanced musicality. A winner of major competitions including the 2019 YCA Susan Wadsworth International Auditions and the 2017 Naumburg Piano Competition, he has performed with leading orchestras such as the Seattle Symphony and Barcelona Symphony. His career highlights include debut recitals at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall, as well as appearances at major venues and festivals across Europe and the U.S. An active chamber musician, he frequently collaborates with flutist Anthony Trionfo and violinists Paul Huang and William Hagen and his debut solo album, Bach’s Art of the Fugue (2025), received critical acclaim, including five Diapasons.
